'Gardening in Tune with Nature'

Join us for a day in the garden, and a stroll through the meadows, as we show how we look to nature for inspiration and guidance to help us design, plant and organically manage a beautiful garden to attract a wealth of wildlife. We made our garden from scratch, on a shoestring budget, with conservation, creativity and productivity our objectives; now we are reaping the rewards of 17 years of growth.

Illustrated lecture showing the garden through the seasons and describing our use of colour to create painterly planting compositions which set the scene for our visiting and resident wildlife.

Consultations I have been designing, creating and nurturing gardens for twenty five years, advocating a sensitive, evolutionary process of development
that supports simple designs. These centre on the harmonious use of colour and the innovative use of grasses and organic materials such as coppiced hazel and willow. I increasingly focus on making romantic and naturalistic gardens where wildlife conservation is foremost, and my speciality is creating and restoring traditional wildflower meadows.

In 2001 Pam Lewis was featured in House and Garden as one of Britain's top 50 garden designers.
