The tour starts with the Frog Garden, so
named because it has a small but thriving wildlife pond and bog as
its main feature. The spring and summer borders are planted in shades
of blue and yellow and then in winter we enjoy the vibrant coloured
stems of rubus, cornus and willow. We have made a virtue of our damp,
'weedy' lawn and we actively encourage a diversity of native plant
species to grow in the grass. |
